Hello Sean,

I know that, that was I supplied a patch which transformed the faq in
mere article, but it was rejected for the reason that the source is
the same for doc source and web site, which I can understand, but
still does not solve the problem.

For you to better understand, I say again what I've said:
1 - menu help does not work on mac
2 - hence I should tell the fink users to use yelp
3 - therefore doc should work with yelp
4 - mac users are not used to navigate their trees to find doc for a
package in a folder most are not even aware of
5 - thus there are three solutions:
a - conglomerate team does not bother that mac users had
access to faq: leave it as it was before the patch be applied
      b -  faq is accessible via a new faq item in the about menu;
which points to the faq on the web site
c - faq in either article format (easy to implement, that
corresponds to the patch I supply) or quandaset (not easy to
implement and the current patch is wrong for it to work correctly) is
integrated in the manual
6 - In all cases, something needs to be done
7 - Till this is done, I can no more do anything

In this case, a new menu item in the about menu should be
implemented, so that users know there is a faq.
