Hi there, I still use jEdit after, what... decades? Converted whole companies to it :) I love jEdit for (S)FTP editing, haven't found anything better. Also I'm a Java freak who also makes his own Java version <http://javax.tinybrain.de> (JavaX). My question is regarding the FTP plugin. I can almost not use it anymore. Saving a file often never completes, blocking the I/O thread. I changed nothing on the server I'm connecting to, and neither on my machine (I think). Client: JDK 1.8, Peppermint Linux 7 64 bit, jEdit 5.4. Server: Ubuntu Linux (an older version though). Using SFTP to connect. Any ideas? (Or alternatives for convenient SFTP-based editing?)
