By "widget", if you mean "Plug-In", I don't have any plug-ins installed. But "Scroll and Center Caret", which seems to be mapped to Command-L, does not appear to help. FWIW - I have also tried de-selecting 'Use OS X naive Quartz renderer', which didn't appear to help either.
