Re: focus on opening jEdit

i have the same problem, and I think it's a Windows problem

I have not found anything searching for 'windows 10 visible app does not 
have focus'

I'm looking at jEdit, but if I hit Alt+F4 to close the current app, 
Windows brings up the Shutdown dialog
