Request for feature? Logical move.

Hello @all, I have been using LyX a lot. In a sense I like LyX in the same sense that I like and use Markdown (a markup language). Both follow the WYSIWYM paradigm. :-) One of the things where LyX wins over other editors, at least those that I know, is since it knows the internal structure of the document it allows to move things around in a logical way. :-) There are two issues that I want to report here. 1. When promoting a subsection to a section in a beamer document, that conversion does not necessarily goes well for the Frames. 2. A request for a feature, if it does not exist yet: Suppose that I have the following itemized list: * A - B * C I would like to be able to go to the C paragraph and move it above the A paragraph directly. The final output would be: * C * A - B As it happens now I have to move it one at a time. Sometimes that messes up with the indentation if the are different paragraph types in the move path, what I would like would be an option to move the whole paragraph as a whole. One example where this makes sense is, for example, with a beamer Block. The Block usually has other indented content. As it is now the only options is to cut and paste. The issue here is the insertion location is not always obvious (at least for me). :-) Best regards, -- José Abílio -- lyx-devel mailing list [email protected] https://lists.lyx.org/mailman/listinfo/lyx-devel
