No dark mode on Fedora 43, LyX ver. 2.4.4

Hi all,

I am having issues trying to get LyX 2.4.4 to open in dark mode on my
Fedora 43 system.

Neither the default "fusion" qt theme or "windows" theme wants to
change to a dark color scheme. I'm not sure where to make it do so
manually. I've tried first making sure my gsettings dark mode toggle
was set to "prefer-dark" (I forget the exact setting), and I've also
tried launching LyX with "qt5ct" with a dark fusion color scheme set
up. This doesn't seem to make any difference and LyX remains light.

Interestingly, using "qt6ct" works (again using the
QT_QPA_PLATFORMTHEME environment variable), except all of the UI
elements seem broken with far too much padding, so definitely not
usable.

Not a very serious issue, but it's been bothering me and some insight
on this will be very appreciated. On my Mac and Windows systems this is
not a problem.

Thanks,
U
