Windows 11, Lyx 2.5.1.I have worked for days to get LilyPond working in Lyx=
and use the example file. I have been able to get preview to work on scree=
n, just not output.
Everything I see online is it is just supposed to magically work when put l=
ilypond in the Lyx path and reconfigure. So far it does not.
Where I am at now: I have LilyPond 2.26.0 downloaded and python installed. =
I added the path for lilypond\bin to my system path and in Lyx, did reconfi=
gure and still get the error asking for the lilypond-book->latex when openi=
ng the example file. However preview does work, and I can run the conversio=
n tests on lilypond-book via command line and they pass as set on the Lilyp=
ond website.
To get the error to stop on opening the sample I added a converter for lily=
pond-book(latex)->Latex(plain) and giving it a path like this:
$${python}=C2=A0 C:\path\lilypond-2.26.0\bin\lilypond-book.py=C2=A0 $$iorC:=
\pathtopython\python.exe=C2=A0 C:\path\lilypond-2.26.0\bin\lilypond-book.py=
=C2=A0 $$i
But this fails on export saying there was an error in running the command.
Ultimate goal is to put some music in a book with other text and export wit=
h LuaTeX if possible.
Thank you for your time,Matt
