I've personally not had to read/write classic Mac filesystems in some 
time now. OSX has used Unix format for 25 years now, so agreed it's 
probably time to get rid of that.

Ironically Apple users will probably never see an updated version 
because of the company's idiotic policies about including Free Software, 
so definitely go for it man.
