I'm running RHEL5 on a 64 bit system and having a problem that I
didn't have when running nedit on the 32 bit system. When I
click on a menu button, the options that are not currently valid
are completely grayed-out instead of dimmed. The accelerators are
properly dimmed though. Nothing earth-shattering, but it is ugly.
I do not have this problem in my GTK applications, so I think this
is a motif issue. I tried downloading the latest source for nedit,
but that didn't help this problem (but it did fix a problem with
the open file dialog box). Here's what I have:
5.6 [Under Development] HEAD
May 28, 2010
Built on: Linux, x86-64, GNU C
Built at: May 28 2010, 13:24:10
With Motif: (Untested) 2.3.1 [@(#)Motif Version 2.3.1]
Running Motif: 2.3 [unknown]
Server: The X.Org Foundation 70101000
Visual: 24-bit TrueColor (ID 0x21, Default)
Locale: en_US
But it also failed with:
NEdit 5.5
Sep 30, 2004
Built on: Linux, x86-64, GNU C
Built at: Oct 6 2008, 04:39:48
With Motif: 2.3.0 [@(#)Motif Version 2.3.0] (UNTESTED)
Running Motif: 2.3 [unknown]
Server: The X.Org Foundation 70101000
Visual: 24-bit TrueColor (ID 0x21, Default)
Locale: en_US
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
-- Wayne.
