Well, after all, I decided to get the sources from mingw and compiled 
and intsalled them. It now works fine. I'm getting a few warnings in 
acinclude.m4, wxwin.m4 and pk.m4, but that's because of aclocal 1.8.2, 
they don't appear in 1.7. Note that they don't have any impact on the 
generation of ./configure, so everything is fine.
