Poedit's TM doesn't work the way I think you assume. It translates
*sentences* (actually, gettext strings), not individual words or
expressions inside them, so it doesn't matter how long the terms in
your glossary are, they won't be picked up by poedit unless you're
translating a string that consists only of the term in the glossary.

Having better support for glossaries would be nice, though.
