Hi again,

Sorry for half-reply. Try another thing, open with some text editor other  
than default notepad, ie I use Notepad2 or Notepad++. Or try following:
- open po with notepad
- open Word
- copy everything from po to word
- save word as txt and assign UTF-8 (fedora is moving toward utf-8 anyway)
- open that file in notepad and change following line:
charset=iso-8859-2\n"
into:
charset=UTF-8\n"
- change extension to *.po and try to open/save with poEdit
