I'll try to give as much details as I can but I'm not sure which details 
you will need.

do you more version details?
(The citrix configuration for PoEdit is similar to other programs which 
work fine that way.)

Citrix starts PoEdit , the first screen (for a new user) is 'language 
selection'
- If I press OK PoEdit crashes and the Visual Studio Just in Time Debugger 
pops up saying 
 'An unhandled win32 exception occurred in poedit.exe[8084]
- in the debugger I choose 'Continue' (not 'Break') and get a wxWidgets 
Debug Alert
 '../src/msw/button.cpp(365): assert "tlw" failed in SetTmpDefault(): 
button without top level window?'

- If I then press Cancel, I get the message that PoEdit is starting for 
the first time and then the preferences dialog.
- If I enter e.g. the user name and OK, PoEdit crashes and the Visual 
Studio Just in Time Debugger pops up saying 
 'An unhandled win32 exception occurred in poedit.exe[6640]
- the rest is as above ...

I think it might be a rights issue, but I don't know what to try. (temp 
directories, registry, ...)
