[poedit-users] Mac PoEdit problems

Hi!

Still trying to generate an updated .po file.  Perhaps someone can tell me
what is going wrong.

This is my sequence:
1. Downloaded Official .po file from the WordPress Germany website.
2. Opened this file in poEdit (mac)
3. Immediately get errors:
> 1. ³11:23:42: /Users/palurie/Desktop/poedit.app/Contents/MacOS/msgfmt: (null):
> warning: PO file header missing or invalid
> 2. 11:23:42:     
> warning: charset conversion will not work
> 3. 11:23:42: /Users/palurie/Desktop/poedit.app/Contents/MacOS/msgfmt: found 1
> fatal error
4. Am unable to save this.
5. Under Settings, I then add the path (folder of my wordpress theme is at
top level) 
6. Under Keywords I add ³_e² and ³__²; then click OK
7. I then try to update from sources and get following error:  ³can¹t flush
file descriptor 21 (error 45: Operation not supported)
8. I click OK, and then get the screen showing strings and obsolete strings.
If I click this, the poEdit program crashes.

I can send through the Wordpress official po file.

Please let me know
