[poedit-users] ANN: Poedit 1.4.0_pre1 pre-release

Hi,

I uploaded first pre-release of Poedit 1.4.0:

As usual, it changes some strings, so translations need minor updates.

As for the changes, most notable is hopefully final fix for the 
entries corruption bug that plagued the last two releases. It's 
possible the fix introduces new bugs, because it was major change, so 
any testing would be welcome -- but if any bugs in this new code are 
left, they shouldn't be data corruption ones.

If you regularly work with large catalogs and have a modern multi-core 
machine, you'll appreciate that merging/updating catalogs is now much 
faster (you won't notice with small catalogs).

There are also changes to visualization of catalog entries, with the 
goal of making the UI more standard and improving usability. I won't 
say any more about this and won't discuss what potential problems I 
may see with the new version, so that I don't influence your opinion. 
But I'd very much like to hear your opinion on the changes.
