[poedit-users] UTF-8 on osx in poedit

I am trying to coax a mac to put utf-8 (spanish) characters in po files in
poedit. So far, I tend to get unicode rather than utf-8.
?

Related question, is there a way to map the right-command or option keys to
output the common accented characters (ñ,á) in utf-8 ? Hitting option-e then
the next key to get an accented character is a little tedious.
