I have created a octave project on github: https://github.com/texmacs/octave And it is read-only (synced from the SVN repo). It would be a good idea to create a Pull Request on it and I will review the Pull Request. Also, I will read your improvements on the octave plugin, and integrate the code to the existing octave plugin.
