Keep in mind that RDi uses Eclipse as it's framework, and it's a very
heavy framework.

There are ways to open a file when launching eclipse (see
https://help.eclipse.org/latest/index.jsp?topic=%2Forg.eclipse.platform.doc.isv%2Fguide%2Fproduct_open_file.htm),
but I don't think that works well when eclipse is being used as an
IDE, as it has a workspace associated with it.

Even if it were possible, launching eclipse and all it's plugin's is
going to take quite a while just to edit a file.
