Had a similar experience. There was a time, long, long ago, when you required a TAX EXIT certificate to leave this blessed land, Land of Lara. Fantastic, salved the pain of WI losses. Not totally, but imagine if BC were to keep fit, like lighten up on the activities, cut down on all this promo stuff, concentrate on cricket and leadership of WI, imagine !! all test batting records will be his. So, I am proposing that GOVT give BC a sum of money so that BC will concentrate totally on cricket, no TSTT promos etc. But I digresss. The official asked for TAX EXIT certificate. WHAT? Stunningly blinding moment of shock and hopelessness...I did not have such document as I prepared to fly out. A top 10 worst moment. Ace, when next you plan to visit, regarding housing: if you are not too fussy, I can put you up in a room here at my place. There is bed, bath, usual necessities. There is a bar filled with human alco leeches not too far in case you get the urge to imbibe. I have an office 20 feet away so you can run a cable from the hub to your laptop to get online.
