Same thing happened to me last year.  Had to renew my drivers licence
the day before FLOS Caribbean.  

At least this way you may get to meet Ross and the rest of us crazy
folk.

Very sorry hear this Ace.......i usually experience something similar
except
it's with my driver's license......i don't own a car you see so I never
really bother to check and make sure it's valid.

Let's hope you can get it renewed soon.
