RE: CIS Projects

Hi Len,

Based on Ross' perception I won't say it was a computer science project
because no development was necessary........but then again I was doing a
computer science degree and the project was part of it.........

I had material regarding what UWI offered at the PG level (taken from the
prospectus and syllabus) and also spoke to some graduates and current
students..........

I also got material on what other foreign universities were offering at the
PG level and compared those with UWI's.  At that time (1998/1999) UWI's PG
programme taught some material the foreign universities taught at the UG
level......some even at the first year!!!!

Also some foreign universities had variety and students were able to
specialise...........

Most of my printed research material consisted of prospectuses, syllabai and
a few articles from magazines........at that time the Internet was almost
non-existant on campus so I was limited there.  My paper is probably lying
around the DMCS somewhere.......i got a B (or a B+)..........not bad for a
die hard slacker at that time!
