Official welcome

Colleagues,

By now everyone from the old list would have subscribed to the CIS Dgroup.
Welcome back!

The CIS is now back online.......website and mailing list.  The website
needs a little work.  I will probably do a little redesign on the site until
Anil gives the word that the burrokeet can be easily maintained using
openoffice documents, ie no glitches, etc.  I know he experienced some
problems earlier in setting up the site and I've been incommunicado with him
in this regard.  Anil please give us an update.

With regards to the dgroups, I still have to play around with it myself to
see how the features work, as moderator I've placed no restrictions that
you're not familiar with, ie membership requires approval and only members
can post.  Also it is required, at least from now, that new members will be
required to introduce themselves to the list, as in the larger icacaribbean
dgroup.
