RE: Question about funding

You would need someone familiar with proper accounting procedures who would
be able to advise, handle  and document fund distribution during a project's
implementation cycle so that internal audits will be passed and who can
ensure that criteria for meeting external audits are passed as well. Simple
things like how you file your invoices can be an issue when financial audits
are involved.
Getting the funding is the main battle for any non-profit agency or
individual, but remember any project implemented is a reputation builder or
breaker to the confidence of funding agencies in you when they do decide on
who to award funds for future projects to, and one of the best way to
achieve this is to have an incident-free unquestionable positive financial
audit afterwards. Ensuring the project objectives are met satisfactorily is
also just as good a way to impress as well! :-)
