Not necessarily. You would need to convince the funders that you can do 
what they require. If this includes financial reporting then maybe an 
accountant.

In general I agree with Nissans comments here, however, it is dependent 
on the fund being applied for. Some will state individuals can apply, 
some will state only non-profits etc.

The key thing is to convince the funder that you have the team behind 
you to fulfill the promises made in your proposal. This is rarely a 
single individual.
