A Spanish artist has made an ultra-realistic portrait head of Nero out of
silicon rubber, copying an existing bust and adding the mottled skin
described in Suetonius' unflattering pen portrait. He has taken S's word
for his hair colour, _subflavus_, to mean a dull ginger. The result is
