Dear list members, On 5-7 June 2020, the Research Centre of Ancient Near Eastern and Mediterra= nean Cultures (CAEMC), with its seat at the University of Tartu, Estonia, o= rganizes its 19th International Conference of Ancient East Mediterranean St= udies (ICAEM 2020), this time on the topic "Epic, Society and Religion in t= he Ancient Near Eastern and Mediterranean cultures". The conference takes p= lace in Tartu, Estonia. Deadline for submission of your topic and abstract is 31 January 2020. Abst= racts should not be longer than 200 words and should be submitted to caemc@= ut.ee. Acceptance of papers will be announced by 15 February 2020. Feel fre= e to forward this call for papers to your colleagues who might be intereste= d in the topic but are not on this list. The conference language is English= . Confirmed keynote speakers are Prof. Margalit Finkelberg (Tel Aviv Universi= ty), Prof. Andrew R. George (University of London), and Prof. Christoph Lev= in (University of M=FCnchen). There is no conference fee but those wishing to take part without a paper s= hould register by e-mail due to space limits. Registration is open until 15= May 2020.
