Skillsoft has just set up our instance of Skillport , for which we are
following the OCLC configuration at
https://help.oclc.org/Library_Management/EZproxy/Database_stanzas/Skillsoft-Skillport
. It seems to work fine, except I was surprised to find that users going to
our platform at https://[proxy server]/sso/skillport are being prompted to
log on to EZproxy both on campus and off campus. We would much prefer on
campus users being able to use Skillport without authenticating, so I
contacted OCLC about this. OCLC suggested that "The Skillport site use[s
the] SSO function with EZproxy and EZproxy sends them user information to
authenticate the site. It does not use the EZproxy server after this part
is done. Since this resource gets information from EZproxy to
authenticate, I think this configuration type ignores excludeIP because of
this configuration." -- which would preclude AutoLoginIP as well. Is there
a way for on-campus patrons to not have to login to use Skillport
configured with EZproxy SSO?

Best,

Gus
