Hello Mike

I had also missed the last part of the stanza (don’t use the Scopus section either), I have now added it and it looks to have sorted the issue for us.

Thank you for posting this.

Gregor

Since there seem to be two distinct issues at work here, I can speak to the one Gregor first raised and I also observed.

Elsevier support kindly directed me to the last part of the new stanza (updated about 10 days ago):

Title -hide Elsevier Identity

URL https://id.elsevier.com

HJ https://id.elsevier.com

HJ id.elsevier.com

DJ id.elsevier.com

Find redirect_uri=https://clicktime.symantec.com/3M7PUDGt913CBHuafzZkvi47Vc?u=https%3A%2F%2F

Replace redirect_uri=https://^A

I overlooked that part when I installed the new stanza because it follows a Scopus section we are not using. This should be of help to someone who is as hasty as me.

Thank you,

Mike

I am seeing the exact same problem as Gregor. We, too, have the latest Science Direct stanza installed. I just sent in a support request through their support page<https://eur01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fservice.elsevier.com%2Fapp%2Fhome%2Fsupporthub%2Fsciencedirect%2F&data=02%7C01%7Cg.thomson%40qmul.ac.uk%7C8c3b17271f46475f3e9108d741f4a64a%7C569df091b01340e386eebd9cb9e25814%7C0%7C1%7C637050391335029715&sdata=t53Vees5JFeEnXr8G94nujv6Q3saTTpxDaSRdEcx%2F5E%3D&reserved=0>, mentioning this discussion thread. Hopefully they get to the bottom of it quickly.

Thank you,

Mike

Subject: [EZPROXY-L] Science Direct access

Hello

I was wondering if anyone else has had the following issue.

When we try and access Science Direct articles through EZproxy the proxy is dropped and we just get sent to the Science Direct hompage.

We tried updating out stanza to the latest one on the OCLC website ( https://help.oclc.org/Library_Management/EZproxy/Database_stanzas/Elsevier_ScienceDirect_and_Scopus<https://eur01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fhelp.oclc.org%2FLibrary_Management%2FEZproxy%2FDatabase_stanzas%2FElsevier_ScienceDirect_and_Scopus&data=02%7C01%7Cg.thomson%40qmul.ac.uk%7C8c3b17271f46475f3e9108d741f4a64a%7C569df091b01340e386eebd9cb9e25814%7C0%7C1%7C637050391335039711&sdata=2%2F6RhugruYLv8mbp%2BN4HQyDNfrGwztxq7pdqPvO5fgA%3D&reserved=0>)

But this has had no effect.

Has anyone else had this issue and knows a solution?

Thank you

Gregor
