Hi Edward,

Thank you for catching this. We have removed that text for the time being. Next week we will create additional documentation about the new features and make sure those pages are appropriately linked from the release notes.

Thanks!

Dear Hank,

Could you ask someone to correct an error in the current release notes? There is supposed to be a link to an official page with more information on the encrypted usernames via SSO feature, but the text in the release notes is "Visit the following page for more information on this feature {encrypted sso usernames}. "

Thanks.

-Edward

Important note about Proxy by Port:

OCLC will end support for EZproxy’s Proxy by Port option on 30 September 2020, due to its incompatibility with many popular e-resource websites. Customers currently running Proxy by Port may continue to do so for the time being. After 30 September 2020, customers will need to enable Proxy by Hostname in order to receive support from OCLC. Proxy by Hostname will help ensure seamless access for your library’s e-resource subscriptions. For more information, please see migrating to Proxy by Hostname<https://protect-us.mimecast.com/s/9PbTCDkx7QtB70PkUADoTC?domain=help.oclc.org> or contact OCLC Support<https://protect-us.mimecast.com/s/ooMoCERy70IWwMPNTPHv7R?domain=oclc.org>.

EZproxy Analytics:

Later this year, EZproxy Analytics will be available for the EZproxy hosted service with an additional subscription. We are holding a webinar on 8 October 2019 to give customers a preview of the service and share additional details.
