Hello, Anna,
We set up access to Westlaw UK on the Practical Law platform in 2018 as a trial.
Try this hybrid stanza for Westlaw Next and Practical Law - the only bugbear is the content under the More > News on the drop-down menu may fall outside your subscription and, therefore, be inaccessible on the new tab ("An error occurred processing your request. Please try again later."). It isn't possible to configure this to be hidden AFAIK. There may also be issues with permissions when transferring from Westlaw International Materials (WIM) to Westlaw UK (WUK) and vice versa.
I made sure WIM and WUK had the same sponsor code when I configured EZproxy. Recently it was reported on a mailing list (this one?) that Westlaw Support said it wasn't necessary to use a sponsor code but I am not sure. It certainly was necessary when I sorted out the EZproxy configuration during our trial last year. YMMV.

Subject: [EZPROXY-L] Westlaw and EZProxy
Hello,
We've recently been migrated over to the new platform for Westlaw, but I've been told by their tech support that they are now only offering federated access.
Is it possible to use EZProxy with a Service Provider if they don't support access based on the IP address of the requestor?
I have asked OCLC Support a similar question but they don't seem to be able to provide an answer. If anyone could help I would be really grateful!
Best wishes,
Anna
