It depends on which AWS CDN serves the content. You have identified the host that has a NeverProxy directive on the official stanza so use the official stanza:
https://help.oclc.org/Library_Management/EZproxy/Database_stanzas/Taylor_Francis_eBooks

NeverProxy s3-euw1-ap-pe-ws4-capi2-distribution-p.s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com

That should prevent the AWS host from being rewritten by EZproxy and, therefore, stop any CORS block from happening. I would also test adding:

NeverProxy reacheds3-euw1-ap-pe-ws4-capi2-distribution-p-s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com

Does anyone have the solution to this Taylor and Fracis eBook problem?

Currently we can view the full text online for the ebooks, but the following type of error is displayed for pdf download:
1. Firefox: "We can’t connect to the server at s3-euw1-ap-pe-ws4-capi2-distribution-p-s3-eu-west-1-amazonaws-com.ezproxy.lib.monash.edu.au<http://s3-euw1-ap-pe-ws4-capi2-distribution-p-s3-eu-west-1-amazonaws-com.ezproxy.lib.monash.edu.au>"

2. Internet Explorer: " Cannot reach this page

  *   Make sure the web address https://s3-euw1-ap-pe-ws4-capi2-distribution-p-s3-eu-west-1-amazonaws-com.ezproxy.lib.monash.edu.au is correct"

3.Google Chrome : "This site can’t be reacheds3-euw1-ap-pe-ws4-capi2-distribution-p-s3-eu-west-1-amazonaws-com.ezproxy.lib.monash.edu.au<http://reacheds3-euw1-ap-pe-ws4-capi2-distribution-p-s3-eu-west-1-amazonaws-com.ezproxy.lib.monash.edu.au>’s server IP address could not be found.
Try running Windows Network Diagnostics.

Not sure if I'm understanding the problem here, but I wouldn't use an *.amazonaws.com<http://amazonaws.com> domain as your EZproxy domain. Instead, register your own personal domain that makes sense for your environment and set it up properly in Amazon's Route53.

I have a quite look at our access to T&F ebook, everything seems working at our end. Is there a particular title you have the access issue? Or, your access issue happened after particular access steps? If so, let me know and I am happy to test the same titles or steps at my end.

Hello All,



I am currently attempting to resolve an access issue with our Taylor & Francis eBooks and I am wondering if others are having the same issue.  I am currently using the most recent stanza, but my testing indicates that the included NeverProxy line is not working as intended and my users are receiving a “This site can’t be reached” error.  Based on the URL that is presented the NeverProxy statement is not working.  I have already moved the stanza to top to account for conflicting stanzas and that had no impact.  Taylor & Francis reports that they have exhausted their troubleshooting and I should reach out to OCLC for assistance.



Any thoughts/recommendations?
