We just went from self-hosted to hosted in October of this year. For the most part, everything went smoothly. We only had a major problem with one database product, which I thought was pretty good. The implementation manager was helpful and professional. Admittedly, things are a little trickier, if you choose self-service for updating stanzas as well as the patron database. But, it is not something you have to choose, if you don't want to. I've worked with stanzas for many years, so I felt comfortable doing so. But, if it is not your interest, you can have them update everything. Anyway, if you have any questions, please let me know. Hope this helps.

Ron

Subject: [EZPROXY-L] EZproxy self-hosted and OCLC-hosted

After approximately 16 years self-hosting EZproxy, we are looking at moving to OCLC-hosted. I have a few questions for those who have been through this process. Could you please contact me off list if you are willing to share your experience?

Thank you,
