Re: WorldBook permalinks

Hi Tim--

This is the case with us. We use CGI authentication, and the # doesn't play well with the process by which the url is passed to the authentication server and then passed back.

We've found that the permalink format used in the previous World Book interface redirects to the new and doesn't have the same issues, so we use this.

If you subscribe to WorldBook, do the permalinks, when used with a proxy prefix, go to the database level and not to the article?

A url that should be https://www.worldbookonline.com/student-new/#/article/home/ar027260 ends up as https://www.worldbookonline.com/student-new/#/article/home/ where "ar######" is stripped off.
