As far as I could tell, configuration of Liblynx was not required to get the full text PDF -- I think it's invoked only during institutional sign in (SSO) such as Shibboleth.

I had tried adding the liblynx reference earlier, with just the new stanza, but it didn't work. Now that I've got the other recommended stanza in the config file (which contains both old and new stanza information) as well as the liblynx HJ mentioned below, access seems to be restored.



I'll see how it goes during the day since last time I saw access restored, it didn't seem to last very long.

We had problems about 2 weeks ago, and opened a ticket with Emerald, and they told us to add it to the config.  That took care of the problem for us.  I'm keeping our old config, along with the new OCLC posted config, with the above addition, for a little while until this all settles out, but it seems to work for us.   FWIW.

Now I am not being authenticated via EZproxy or when bypassing EZproxy. So, clearing cookies was not a permanent solution. It would seem there are problems at the Emerald end.

I found I was now getting the 2nd message. It appeared that authentication was indeed impacted and I couldn't access the PDF. When I bypassed ezproxy, I was authenticated ok. I deleted all my Emerald cookies and the ones at the level of our institution's domain, and deleted browser cache, and now I am authenticated ok via ezproxy.

I added the newest OCLC stanza without deleting the old one on my EZproxy config file.  Here are 2 kinds of the messages I got on Emerald site, with the 1st one on a blank page and 2nd on a working Emerald page. I went from my OpenURL link resolver, which may still use old Emerald URL.



1.
