Thanks for the reply Srihari.

Currently I am a Software Engineer. I want to move to Research Area in my
field.
I have plans to come back to India after finishing my studies in U.K.

Recently I came across some news saying that 1 year degree in U.K is not
recognised in India.
Not sure how far this is true

I am worried whether this 1 year MSc degree will provide me with good
research opportunities in India.

This is making me to think whether to do MSc or MS.
My objective is moving to Research.
On this regards, can you advise me whether MSc from UK or MS from US will
be helpful to pursue research?

Thanks in advance for your guidance.
