The Department of Women's and Gender Studies at the University of Toledo seeks applicants for a one-year visiting assistant professor position. Qualifications for the position include the following: Ph.D. or A.B.D. and experience teaching women's studies/gender studies classes. The workload for the position will be four three-hour courses per semester, and the salary is $34,000. Courses will include introductory courses (Introduction to Gender Studies and Issues in Women's Studies), as well as some advanced courses as needed. The successful applicant may also be asked to develop a special topics course for spring semester in his/her area of speciality. Review of applicants will begin on May 15, but the position will remain open until filled.
