Arts International/Arts Presenters Explorations Fund
Invites Applications for Travel Funding
Deadline: July 15, 2002; November 1, 2002; and February 1,
2003
The goal of the Explorations Fund, a partnership between
the Association of Performing Arts Presenters
(http://www.artspresenters.org/) and Arts International,
(http://www.artsinternational.org/) is to further global
cultural exchange and to enrich the understanding of the
diversity of performing arts offerings worldwide.
In 2002-2003, the Fund will provide travel support to
individual presenters responsible for programming at non-
profit presenting organizations; nonprofit artist managers;
artist managers with a nonprofit affiliation; and indepen-
dent producers, presenters, and artist managers. The Fund
will reimburse up to $2,000 to cover the cost of inter-
national airfare and per diem for travel to festivals and
international performances. In some cases, presenters may
also apply to attend festivals within the United States
that present international work. Grants for travel within
the U.S. will not exceed $500.
Complete program information and an application form are
available at the Association of Performing Arts Presenters
Web site.
