Freedom House's Regional Networking Project
The project encourages cross-border cooperation and
communication between Central and Eastern European
(CEE) NGOs, particularly public policy institutes or
think tanks. The project began as a component of the
Democracy Network Program launched in 1995 by the
United States Agency for International Development.
The project offers a range of grant making, training,
information-sharing and networking opportunities. NGOs
from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria,
Croatia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, FYR Macedonia,
Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Yugoslavia and selected
Newly Independent States are eligible for support.
