To the interested parties,
YES Albania, in cooperation with YES Netherlands, is
organizing the international conference titled: “
Crossing cultures, borders and boundaries in the
Balkans; Regional Stability: the Case of Albania”. The
conference is made possible through the financial
support of the Council of Europe, NATO and a
considered number of local donors, and will be held
from the 21st to the 25th of June in Tirana, Albania. 
This event is a continuance of the activity of YES
network in South-Eastern Europe that has started since
1994.  Topics that will be dealt with during the
conference, concern the crucial issues of the moment:
Regional Security and Stability, further
Democratization, strengthening of the Rule of Law and
the integration into the Euro-Atlantic structures.
Prominent international and local speakers are invited
to deliberate on the issues. 
The following are some of the subject that are on the
conference programme: The Democratization and
Integration Process of the Balkans; the Role of
International Institutions; · Reconciliation of South
Eastern Europe and European Integration; Finding
Common Ground in the Region; · New Political Views in
and on the Balkans after the conflicts; Finding
