USA . 703-691-2261 . www.conflicttransformation.org Resource for Careers and Opportunities in International Studies For the past three years, the Alliance for Conflict Transformation has developed and maintained some of the premier resources for professionals seeking employment and fellowship opportunties in the field of international relations. ACT currently maintains seven different listservs that can be used for both individuals seeking jobs/fellowships and for organizations interested in recruiting qualified candidates. Over 100 organizations and universities throughout the world currently use the lists to recruit advanced professional and academic candidates in the fields of conflict resolution, peace studies, development, human rights, women's rights, civil society development, microfinance and similar fields. To date, hundreds of individuals have obtained jobs/fellowships through the service. The lists have a total subscriber base of about 15,000 members worldwide, ranging from advanced professionals and academics to people seeking entry level positions. The lists are as follows: 1)Conflictjobs - Postings of jobs in the fields of peace and conflict resolution, development, international education and human rights for all regions of the world 2)Conflictscholarships - Postings of scholarships, conferences, publications and funding announcements related to fields of peace and conflict resolution, human rights and development for all regions of the world. 3)Ceejobs - Posting of jobs related to Central and Southeastern Europe. 4)Ceescholarships - Posting of scholarships, conferences, publications and funding opportunities related to the Central and Southeastern Europe Region. 5)Nisjobs - Posting of jobs related to the Newly Independent States Region. 6)Nisscholarships - Posting of scholarships, conferences, publications and funding opportunities related to the former Soviet Union. 7)Dcevents - Postings of talks, conferences and cultural events in the Washington DC area related to the fields of development, peace and conflict and human rights.
