Dear All,

The Human Rights Centre of Ius Gentium Conimbrigae - HRC-IGC
(Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra-PORTUGAL) is proud to
present the Coimbra Law School on Human Rights.

The HRC-IGC organises several activities per year in the field of
Human Rights Education. These activities are known to be a space of
multicultural exchange and a forum for debate of ideas. This year
the HRC has the following international activity:

COIMBRA LAW SCHOOL ON HUMAN RIGHTS (CLS)
IV Summer Course
HUMAN RIGHTS IN A BROADER EUROPEAN PERSPECTIVE
17th – 26th July 2002

The Coimbra Law School on Human Rights (CLS) is an annual two-week
summer course on Human Rights. Starting with local, regional and
global perspectives, it also provides training in peacekeeping and
humanitarian intervention, migration, citizenship, minority rights,
and other contemporary issues. The School intends to promote
knowledge and a thought provocative understanding of Human Rights in
its legal and political dimensions, with particular emphasis on some
controversial topics and on the interrelationship between national
and international jurisdictions.
