Hi everyone, I suppose you are all working on your Activity sequences. In relation to that there are two recent papers about constructionism and science education in middle school which I think are very relevant: first in Richard's journal Making Constructionism Work in the Classroom Andri Ioannidou, Alexander Repenning, Clayton Lewis, Gina Cherry, Cyndi Rader in International Journal of Mathematical Learning, 2003, Volume 8, Issue 1 and also Problem based learning meets case based reasoning in the middle school science classrom: Putting Learning By Design into Practice, Kolodner, Camp, Crismond, Fasse, Holbrook, Puntambekar, and Ryan, in the Journal of the Learning Sciences, vol 12, No 4, 2003 Regards jakob
