Wow! I never thought it would feel so good to hit the arrow keys! Thanks Ken! Everyone - please grab a copy and try it for 10-15 minutes at least. This is a major UI change, which I suspect also entailed some non-trivial internal changes. It is important to make sure we have this right. Personally, I haven't found any bugs yet, but I have a conceptual puzzle: Say I have two numbers, k and l, and I want to compute k/l. previously, I would pick up l, hit / and drop it on k. That doesn't work anymore. (same for any operation other than +). So, what's the alternative? - Yishay Ken Kahn wrote: >Hi all. > >This release has a major enhancement in how you can edit numbers and >text pads. > >Both now support arrow key editing. > >Numbers can be typed now even when an intermediate state isn't sensible. >E.g. 2/ or -.0 It is only when you drop them or stop pointing to them >that they switch to their canonical form (or their previous value if a >syntactically incorrect number is typed). > >Enjoy. > >TT378.zip is on ftp://weblabs.eu.com/ToonTalk/Releases/ > >Best, > >-ken > > > > > > >Yahoo!
