Hi all.

Don't make any long-lived robots in 3.78 that edit numbers or text pads. Such robots will work only 3.78. In 3.79 (coming soon) the robots know that they are a latter version that has the new text and number editing abilities. (If anyone has built stuff today they want to keep I can tell them how to edit the robot's version number to make them work in later ToonTalk versions.) Also old robots that edit number and text pads don't work in 3.78 (but will in 3.79 and above).

Regarding demos I took care that the old demos use the old code. So they should all work but I haven't tested them much.

I'll implement the "5/" becomes "/5" behavior very soon.

Best,

-ken

Currently, if you drop a "5/" is changes to "5", so changing that to
"/5" would not create any inconsistency, has a reasonable story to it,
is backwards compatible (and would probably save a few tools / demos),
and would seemingly satisfy the principle of least effort (both on your
side and the users'). I vote for this solution.
