Hi Ylva (and others),

The previous implementation was confusing. When on the floor you had the im=
pression that the picture was parallel with the ground. Then you stood up y=
ou now saw the picture with the same aspect ratio even though the camera is=
now from the side rather than above. It is as if the picture stood up too.=
Then when you flew the helicopter over the houses the picture was shorter =
as if it really was standing up not lying on the ground and you were seeing=
it from an angle. It is this last "feature" that I removed in 3.102.

By the way, if you leave a really large picture on the ground then it can c=
over up the houses -- a bit strange.

Best,

-ken

I havent tested this, but isn't it so that pictures are normaly viewed wh=
en sitting on the ground, i.e. the pictures are viewen somewhat from above =
even then? Or what pictures are you talking about?

    Hi all.

Besides fixing several bugs (documented at the end of=20
    http://www.toontalk.com/English/bugs04.htm), this release changes how=20
ToonTalk displays pictures when seen from above in the helicopter. The=
=20
old scheme was inconsistent, confusing, and buggy. ToonTalk no longer=20
attempts to shorten pictures left on the ground when seen from above.=20
The idea was that pictures are really 2D and are seen from an angle whe=
n=20
    flying.

TT3102.zip can be found at ftp://weblabs.eu.com/ToonTalk/Releases/

    Enjoy.

    Best,

    -ken=20
