The problem is that if you install version 1 and then 2 in the same directo= ry and then un-install version 1 it removes the files shared by the two ver= sions. I believe I followed the InstallShield guidelines in generating the = un-install file but this is clearly not so good. The easiest way to fix this is to re-install 3.125X on top of the current b= roken installation and then if desired upgrade from there. Uninstall removes all the entries the installer added to the toontalk.ini f= ile but any added after installation remain after un-installing. The idea i= s that if you un-install version 1 and install version 2 you want the custo= mizations to be preserved. I hope this helps and sorry about this. To do this, I told the installer to install the latter as "Weblabs ToonTalk" instead of the default "ToonTalk" in the Animated Programs directory under Program Files. Recently I switchd from dial-up to DSL, so it's now fast and easy for me to download new versions of TT. I made a CD (really a CD-RW) of TT 3.125X. When I installed 3.125X, I did not change the default location, so it installed itself over commercial ToonTalk. I'm running Windows XP. I install software as an administrator, then test it as a limited user. Up until now I have not had (unsoluable) trouble running TT as a limited user. If I remember correctly, it was at this point that I was able to successfully run TT 3.125X as a limited user. Add/Remove Programs then showed two versions of TT installed. I told it to remove the older one, which would be some earlier version of Weblabs ToonTalk. I am not sure whether at this point, I ran TT successfully as a limited user. I either did so at this point or at the previous point above where I mention it. I then tried upgrading to the latest TT, one that does not have a full install. I ran it as the administrator, but I could not run it as the limited user. The symptom I get is a box that comes up and says USSTT32.dll can't be found. I tried uninstalling TT, reinstalling it, and rebooting. I still get the same symptom when I try to run TT as the limited user. An interesting effect is that when I installed TT 3.125X for the first time, it was defaulting to UK English, but in subsequent attempts, it remembers that I want US English. Therefore, the uninstall isn't removing all information about the installation. I could really use some support because I'd like to continue testing TT as a limited user. I suppose otherwise, I will just test it as the administrator, but I would prefer not to have to do that. Maybe my next step is to uninstall again, then remove all per-user information that I can find (both for the limited user and the administrator), then reinstall, then reboot, then try again as the limited user? Thanks in advance for any attention to this issue. By the way, I'm still having the effect (as I mentioned in the issue file in an issue that is now marked "not reproducible") that in full-screen mode, TT does not use up the whole screen; it leaves a black border around the view.
