Suggest Bounty for Defects

I find even the latest TT way too flaky for use in research (and I
should think, all the worse for infliction on children).

Coming across defects and then documenting them consumes a lot of time
on the part of a would-be user such as me.

I suggest that if Animated Programs has sufficient funding (from
revenue and/or investment) to make a serious effort at producing an
adequate product, they should post a bounty on defects.

I suggest that the bounty should operate as a jackpot.  Contribute at
a fixed rate, say 200 Euros per day, toward compensating those who
find and report defects that can be reproduced by following simple
instructions (e. g., runnning one robot).  If no valid defect reports
arrived on a given day, the money accumulates.  If N people report
valid defects on another day, N > 0, they split the jackpot.

The jackpot system would have the effect that by and large, so long as
defects are numerous and easy to find, the compensation for finding
and documenting each would be relatively small because all the
interested reporters would be splitting the money.  As defects become
less numerous, the average reward for finding and documenting one
increases.  Also, the system would permit Animated Programs to plan
its finances with the benefit of sure and accurate prediction of the
cost of this service.

A limit could be placed on the jackpot, such that if the jackpot
reaches this limit and stays there for a year or so, we could all
regard the product as for practical purposes defect free, and we could
feel confident in using it for research and education.
