By the way, back in 1995 ToonTalk didn't allow you to put bombs or robots in boxes (for different reasons) and the first group of beta testers (10 year olds) found this very strange and complained. On the other hand I've never heard a kid suggest that you should be able to flip over boxes or label bombs. So these enhancements are good ideas but maybe not high priority. And have any of you ever wanted to put Dusty in the hole of a box? Uniformity isn't always best. > > Question: > I can see how you label a bomb or a picture, but how would you label a > box? point and type labels a particular hole. Both seems reasonable. By the way, I recently implemented an experimental feature: typing '.' to a box turns it off (and everything inside) and typing space turns it back on. If you take a box from the back of a turned off a picture then it is off so it is nice to be able to turn it on like this. And if the box has many sensors it is nice to be able to freeze them all at once. But then the problem that text pads have regarding typing '.' vs. turning off the text pad arise. How to include a period in the label of a box? Maybe '.' only turns off boxes if you are holding them. Best, -ken ------------------------ Yahoo!
