Hi. If I were to design the sensors over again then those with textual values (yes/no and see all/see some/see nothing) would be redesigned to have an animated value much like the collision sensors have. But given the way things currently work I recommend that people take the sensor they want to use and type + to it to toggle between possible states and use that for training. (Or when feasible get the sensor to show the desired state.) I don't think typing 'y' 'e' 's' is a good idea but it should work if someone does so. It's a common bug for older students to use wrong case, or to be lazy about proper spelling (i.e., "nao" instead of "não" for "no")? I only worry that addressing this moves ToonTalk into a symbolic area, with symbols for yes, no, or even for different sensor positions. Such a move, I fear, would complicate matters for kids, rather than simplify them. It also fixes a bug that can cause sensors to change language after a series of saves in a different language. This is a serious bug as well since some Swedish tools using yes/no sensors. They used to match "nej" with "nej" and stopped working after being saved a few times in an English version of ToonTalk because they were changed to matching "nej" with "no".
