Jesper,

I'm not so sure about the issue of nested comments. If I'm notified of a 
comment you made on my report, then you should be notified of my 
response to your comment. I understand the technical limitation, but if 
you can overcome it - I think its better to notify on all comments.

I can relate the the issue of "notification overflow". When we get 
there, we should think of solutions (e.g., sending out a daily digest, 
or notifying through my home page rather than by email).
